The 200mm soda glass desiccator with knobbed lid from the Labbox premium line is a medium capacity laboratory desiccator, supplied complete with a porcelain plate. This soda-lime glass desiccator is designed for routine drying and storage of moisture sensitive samples whilst allowing you to check contents easily through the clear glass body.
With an approximate capacity of 4L, the 200mm Premium Line desiccator is well suited to everyday workloads in analytical, QC and teaching laboratories. Soda-lime glass provides high light transmission and a smooth, easy-to-clean surface, so it is appropriate for general purpose desiccation where highly corrosive chemicals are not involved. The knobbed lid offers a secure grip when placing or lifting the cover, helping to minimise accidental knocks. The porcelain plate raises your samples above the desiccant, creating a stable low-humidity chamber for drying filters, crucibles and other vessels at room temperature.
