With a service temperature range from –45 ºC to +50 ºC (melting point +60 ºC), it is suited to routine lab use. The film is resistant to saline solutions, most common inorganic acids and bases, and some organic solvents such as methanol, ethanol and 2-propanol. It is not resistant to diethyl ether, chloroform, carbon tetrachloride, benzene or toluene.
