140mm Labbox Premium Porcelain Desiccator Plate
The 140mm Labbox premium porcelain desiccator plate is a high temperature porcelain desiccator plate designed for your small laboratory desiccators. This porcelain desiccator plate gives you a stable, chemically resistant support for crucibles, dishes and samples whilst they are dried over desiccant.
Manufactured from top quality laboratory porcelain, the plate withstands temperatures up to 1150 °C and offers excellent resistance to most acids and alkalis, so you can use it confidently through repeated heating and cooling cycles in demanding workflows. The plate is glazed on one side to give a smooth, easy-to-clean surface, whilst the underside remains unglazed for good contact and stability inside your desiccator. It is compatible with standard glass desiccators of matching internal diameter, and it can be autoclaved for sterilisation between uses. Hydrofluoric acid should be avoided as it will attack porcelain.
