The Ø12mm blue polyethylene test tube stopper from Astiks is a flange type stopper for closing 12mm plastic test tubes with clear colour coding. This blue polyethylene test tube stopper enables you to distinguish sample sets quickly whilst maintaining a simple push-fit seal.
Polyethylene provides a lightweight, durable closure that is resistant to many routine laboratory chemicals. The flanged head improves grip during insertion and removal and helps prevent the stopper from being pushed too far into the tube. Blue colour coding is useful where you wish to differentiate sample types, departments or workflows from red and neutral stoppers. These stoppers are designed for use with Astiks TUPP and TUPS plastic test tubes of 12mm diameter. Fit with other 12mm diameter test tubes must be tested before use.
