Made from polyethylene, the stopper withstands routine handling and exposure to many typical laboratory reagents. The wide flanged head provides a secure push fit and confident grip, even with gloved hands. Red colour coding can be used to indicate hazard classes, urgent samples or specific assays, complementing neutral and blue stoppers within the same diameter range.
