The 15ml Clear Borosilicate Glass Rimless Test Tube is a light wall glass test tube for everyday mixing, heating and sample storage in your laboratory. This 125 × 16mm borosilicate glass test tube gives you excellent visibility and chemical durability for small to medium sample volumes.
Made from borosilicate glass 3.3 conforming to recognised laboratory glass standards, the tube combines mechanical strength with low thermal expansion for reliable heating and cooling cycles. The light wall construction supports faster heat transfer, whilst the smooth rimless mouth allows easy pouring and safe handling when you are working with racks or clamps. Fire polished ends are suitable for use with cotton wool plugs, rubber stoppers or polypropylene test tube stoppers, so you can match the closure style to your workflow. The tubes are autoclavable at 121 °C and are compatible with standard 16mm test tube racks and holders used in teaching, QC and research laboratories.
