Labbox 250mm Basic Glass Desiccator
The 250mm glass desiccator from the Labbox basic line is a general purpose laboratory desiccator made from neutral borosilicate glass LBG N and supplied with a porcelain plate. This medium glass desiccator is designed for drying and protecting a wide range of samples whilst allowing you to inspect contents at a glance.
With an approximate capacity of 6L, this 250mm desiccator is well suited to routine workloads, including multiple crucibles, larger filters or small flasks. The LBG N neutral glass provides high chemical resistance and improved mechanical strength, so it is appropriate for regular use in analytical, QC and teaching labs. The porcelain plate raises samples above the desiccant layer, helping to create a stable dry environment in the chamber. As part of the basic line, this desiccator is intended for room temperature use and is not intended for direct heating of the glass.
