The 250mL Labkem pH 4.00 buffer solution is a red coloured pH buffer solution for the calibration and verification of pH meters at pH 4.00 ± 0.01 at 20 °C. The distinctive red colour helps prevent mix ups on the bench whilst you set and check the acidic point in your calibration curve.
This pH 4 buffer solution is supplied ready to use, making it suitable for routine calibration in teaching, QC and research laboratories. The colour coding supports quick identification alongside neutral and alkaline buffers, reducing the risk of selecting the wrong standard. A variation table of pH versus temperature is printed on the label so you can compensate readings away from 20 °C.
