The Ø9mm amber silicone stopper from Labbox is a solid silicone stopper for sealing containers with an internal diameter of 9 ± 0.5mm. This small silicone stopper is ideal for narrow vials and slim test tubes where a flexible, heat resistant closure is needed.
Made from amber silicone, the stopper provides an elastic push-fit seal that remains effective from -70 °C up to +200 °C, making it suitable for freezer storage, hot water baths and repeated autoclaving. The tapered form (approximately 11.1mm at the top and 6.35mm at the bottom) helps it seat securely in narrow necks whilst still being easy to remove with gloved fingers. Because it is supplied individually, you can order exactly the number required for specialist vials or to replace missing stoppers in existing racks.
