Manufactured from polypropylene, the stopper is lightweight, tough and resistant to many common laboratory reagents. PP also withstands autoclaving at 121 °C, so you can sterilise the stopper together with compatible glass test tubes. The push-fit design provides a secure seal whilst remaining easy to apply and remove with gloved hands. Supplied individually, it is suitable where you need to equip specific racks or replace single lost stoppers rather than buying large packs.
